How To Hang From The Rafters --by Andrew Gillingham

Hey! I'm Techno Mouth and making How to Eat Fried Worms was awesome! I loved filming the scene at Twitch's house. We just ran around and went crazy. It was SWEEEET when I got to hang upside down. It was HOT up there, though. Your science teachers were right when they told you that hot air rises. I had to wear a harness that gave me a wedgie, but at least I didn't fall on my head. The stunt coordinator, Jeff Schwan is the best. Remember, he is a trained professional, so please don't try it at home!

  • Andrew, Cooper has been running around calling himself "Techno Mouth" since we saw the movie. All the boys loved it. Personally, I can do without worms blowing up in microwaves, but the rest of the movie was wonderful. :-) You did a great job creating a very memorable character and we wish you all the best. We are proud to know you and your family. Be sure to watch the Cardinals in the playoffs.

  • Loved the movie and the positive message it portrayed about why bullies are bullies and how, if you stand up to bullies, you not only neutralize their "power",you also help them release their own demons, as well. The movie had so many great characters in it. All the kids did a great job! And I applaud the director and producer for making such a positive role model movie! Kudos! Techno was a key character of strength in the story because he was the first to "change sides" and Andrew Gillingham was quite a presence on the screen! Andrew was so very animated and colorful and full of so much expression! I wish I had seen more of him on the screen and heard more of his character. Maybe next time!!! In a word...awesome!!!!!

  • Little Shamu - you were awesome! It must have been the platelets!!! We're proud of you - keep up the good work in Hollywood and we'll be praying for great results. I know Techno Mouth always stands with the underdog, so ignore those Cardinals and watch for the Astros in the playoff! See you on the big screen -

  • We enjoyed the movie a lot (both times!)...it was amazing how different it was from the original book version. It would have been neat seeing more of you, Andrew, but nevertheless we're really proud of you and wish you all the best in California. Come back to Houston and visit us often :-)
